Although I don't discredit this, I found that the thematics of courage the cowardly dog are more reminiscent of childhood psychology, especially toward abused and mentally ill children. Infact they were so inline I almost read the episodes as modern parables for dealing with childhood trauma. Childhood sexual abuse. He's impeccably reminiscent of the average child sexual predator.
