The orchestra led the Hertfordshire Sing Up Gala at the Royal Albert Hall on 7th March in a performance including specially commissioned works for orchestra and massed choirs, with a choir involving over two and a half thousand Hertfordshire school children.
Formed in , the de Havilland Philharmonic Orchestra has enjoyed many years of success, giving acclaimed performances of a wide musical repertoire and engaging renowned soloists. The conductor, Robin Browning , brings together over 80 classical musicians in the Orchestra. Robin enjoys a busy conducting career both in the UK and abroad. The de Havilland Philharmonic Orchestra is a friendly group of musicians made up of talented amateurs, music teachers, and semi-professionals. The Orchestra welcomes interest from new players.
